For 63 years Sammie and Glenda Napier served the Graniteville and surrounding areas with first class funeral service. Sammie began working in the funeral home in 1960 while Glenda decided to take a career in banking where she stayed for 35 years. After her long tenure she decided, as Vice President of the bank, it was time to retire and help her husband run their family business. For 24 years they worked together at Napier Funeral Home helping families make difficult choices during difficult times. On September 30, 2022 Mr. Napier went home to be with the Lord after a seven-month battle with cancer. We miss him dearly and talk about him most every day. He is the reason that Napier Funeral Home is where it is today and we will forever cherish his memory and continue his legacy. As for Mrs. Napier, she has retired from the family business and has confidently handed the reigns over to their long time General Manager, Clint Jackson. She still stops by and is a most welcomed guest in the funeral home office where she “cuts up” with the ladies and even visits with families during visitations. Napier Funeral Home looks forward to continuing its long standing tradition of serving families during their time of need.
