HARRIS-Mrs. Zora Kneece Harris, of Vaucluse, S. C., loving wife for 55 years to William L. Harris and daughter of the late Lillie Mae Rushton Harris Kneece and the late John P. Kneece, answered God’s call and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 23, 2013. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters; Sherry Lynn Harris of the home and Julie Ann (Keith) Polk of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Jennifer Polk and Joshua Colvin and his fiancée Lindsay; a brother, Floyd (Evelyn) Harris; sisters, Naomi K. Padgett and Glenda K. (Sammie) Napier all of Aiken, S.C. a number of nieces and nephews. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Vaucluse, S.C. She was a dedicated member of University Parkway Church of God, and she loved her church, her church family and serving God, her maker and creator. She was a devoted wife, precious mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who next to God always put her family first in her life, and she loved them with all of her heart, especially her two grandchildren, who she adored. She really enjoyed and looked forward to visiting with her sister, Naomi at the end of each week and getting her hair done. She shall be greatly missed by her family, who loved her so much and everyone whose lives she touched during her lifetime on this earth; however life for her has not ended, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe in Him; she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home where there is no more pain or sorrow and no more oxygen tanks to depend on for her breathing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, March 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Henry D. Shaffer, Rev. Derrick Cutter and Rev. W. H. Bryant officiating. The interment will follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Horace Rushton, Larry Harris, Charles Harris, Doug Rains, Brian Kneece and Donnie Turner.
