FREEMAN-Ms. Zora Lee Posey Freeman, age 88, of Warrenville, S. C., widow of the late Thomas Richard Freeman and daughter of the late Frank Posey and the late Gladys Hewitt Posey Pearson, entered into eternal rest at Aiken Regional Medical Center on Monday, July 8, 2013. She is survived by daughters, Dianne Mathis of Beech Island, S.C. and Marsha Cumbee of Graniteville, S. C.; a son, Thomas Richard “Rick†Freeman, II of Gloverville, S. C.; sisters, Nell Medlock of Warrenville, S.C. and Mary Grice of Graniteville, S.C.; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of Warrenville First Baptist Church, where she worked with the GA’s for years, and she was a member of the Warrenville Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Aiken County Republican Party, and she worked as a volunteer at the Aiken Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was also a very proud lady, who carried herself well and every time you saw her, she was always dressed to the tee, with shoes to match every outfit. She will be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 88 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her dear loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, July 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Arthur E. Zawislak officiating.
