CLARK- Wyman H. Clark, age 82, of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 38 wonderful years to Hazel Penrow Clark and son of the late Homer H. Clark and the late Marie Jones Clark, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Saturday, April 25, 2015. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kathleen S. (Kenneth) Mermelstein; sons, Thomas Mitchell (Helen) Coursey, Dwayne Edward (Kelly) Coursey and Blake (Joy) Clark; grandchildren, Ian, Corey, Keely, Leigh, Linzi, Devin and Madison; great grandchildren, Bayleigh, Ryan and Nova; and his Macaw Parrott, Simba. He was preceded in death by a special grandson, Thomas Mitchell Coursey, Jr. and brothers, Homer Clark, Jr. and Carl Clark. He was born in Warrenville, S. C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez, Ga. He retired from SRS Wackenhut as a Sgt. in Security Services, Inc. He graduated from Clemson College and was a US Navy Veteran. He held a lifetime membership as a Mason with Star Lodge #99 in Graniteville, S.C. He was an avid golfer and loved to Snow Ski. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 82 years that God granted him on this earth. There is a consolation in knowing that he is in a better place. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 with Rev. Rick Slagle officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. His grandsons and son-in-law will serve as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one prior to the service. The family wishes to say a “Heartfelt Thank You” to Hospice Care of Tri-County for the wonderful care that was extended to their love one during his illness.
