Wm. Howard Barker

Mr. Wm. Howard Barker, 82, entered into rest on Monday July 10, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wm. Frank Barker and Mildred “Polly” Carpenter Barker; son, Wm. Randy Barker; and brother, Jack D. Barker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Jordan Barker; daughters, Susan (Jimmy) Johnson, Kimberly (Chad) Walden; grandchildren, Jordan (Jennifer) Johnson, Jessica (Nicholas Scicchitano) Johnson, Story Walden; and great granddaughter, Ava Johnson.

Mr. Barker was a lifelong resident of Graniteville and retired from the Gregg Division of the Graniteville Company. He loved to fish and go to dirt track races. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Falcons fan. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

A Funeral Service, celebrating his life, will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday July 13, 2023, at 2 P.M. with Pastor Brancie Stephens to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Chad Walden, Nicholas Scicchitano, Shannon Jordan, and Shawn Jordan.
