WILSON-Ms. Willie Mae Barrett Wilson, age 80, of Warrenville, S.C., answered God’s call and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama on November 19, 1932 and moved to Warrenville, S.C. at the age of six years old and became a lifelong resident. She is the daughter of the late James Andrew Barrett and the late Ora Jackson Barrett Kitchens. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years, Carlton J. Wilson, Sr. and her two brothers, Odell Barrett and J. O. Barrett. She was also preceded in death by her dear friend of twenty years, Leroy Harris. She is survived by sons, Carlton J. Wilson, Jr., Steve B. Wilson; a daughter, Jan W. (Steve) Moore; a brother, Andrew J. Barrett; five grandchildren, Carla Wilson (Marshall) Johnson, Shannon Wilson Caylor, Branson (Deidra) Wilson, Jr., Jason (Robin) Moore, Janna Moore (John) Yonce. In addition, she is survived by great grandchildren, Lauren and Jaxson Caylor, Taylor, Hunter, Rachel and Blake Wilson, Brooke Moore and Kayla Lynch, Jonathan and Jake Yonce and one great-great grandson, Chance Lynch; a number of nieces and nephews; two very special nieces, Joan B. Parrott and Beverly B. Hodson and special family friends, The Reverend Monsignor Richard D. Harris, V. G. and Rhonda (Auren) Mitchell and families. Mrs. Wilson retired from Graniteville Company and was a faithful member of the Dibble Road Church of Christ. Her greatest joy and pleasure was spending time with her family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, December 29th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Family and friends may also call at the residence of her daughter, Jan Moore at 42 Bream Oak Rd., Trenton, S.C. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Evangelist Fred Singleton officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Branson Wilson, Jr., Jason Moore, Marshall Johnson, John Yonce, Ben Parrott and John Hodson. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Butch, Gloria and Barbara of United Hospice of Aiken, S.C. who made this journey peaceful.
