Willie "Billy" C. Chalker

CHALKER-Willie C. “Billy” Chalker, age 61, of Warrenville, S.C., loving husband of Vickie Ready Chalker and son of the late Willie Cleo Chalker, Sr. and the late Maebell Kitchens Chalker, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 23, 2014. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Mae Chalker of Warrenville, S.C.; sons, Willie Calvin (Laura) Chalker of Winder, Ga., Kendell (Brenda) Chalker and Andrew Chalker both of Warrenville, S.C.; a sister, Julie West of Savannah, Ga.; brothers, Tommy Papadeas of Marietta, Ga., Randy Morris of Warrenton, Ga. and Wes Hammack of Mt. Airy, N.C.; one grandchild; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Augusta, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Warrenville, S.C. He was a Commercial and residential construction worker by trade. He faithfully attended Pine Forrest Baptist Church in Langley, S.C. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to work on cars and was noted for starting projects and never completing them. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed cutting up and joking around with everyone. Yes, a man of his caliber will be greatly missed by his family, many friends and all whose live he touched during the 61 years that he was on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A service, celebrating his life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Ron Doss officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Carston Woodhouse, Brandon Washington, Ronald Lanier, Adam Morris, Keith Hutto and John Sharpe. Members of the Men’s Sunday School Class at Pine Forrest Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
