William Ransom Hendrix, age 94, of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 72 years to Carolyn Johnikin Hendrix and son of the late Artis Hendrix and the late Mattie Fulmer Hendrix, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a granddaughter, Celeste LaPointe and a great granddaughter, Oceana LaPointe. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Hendrix Lanier. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville, S. C. During his working years, he was self-employed in home sales/fabrics and notions. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family with all his heart. He shall be greatly missed by his family, many friends and all whose lives he touched during the 94 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and loved ones. A graveside service, celebrating his life, will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery on Friday December 18th at 11 o’clock a.m. with Pastor Linda Anderson officiating.
