William Jeremiah Hawkins went to be with The Lord Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Jeremiah, a brilliant young man, was born in Georgetown, SC in 1997. A graduate of Aiken High in 2015, he attended USC Columbia, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in December 2020. From USC, he went on to work with Filmwerks in Rocky Point, NC as a Design Engineer. Jeremiah was very humble, and unpretentious, he had always been technologically oriented since he was a child, and could fix any phone or computer. Jeremiah craved knowledge, and was always seeking to learn new things. He enjoyed the outdoors, music of all sorts, and enjoyed taking his Jeep into the mud. He loved his family, his cherished and beloved dog Juneau, and will be missed by them dearly. Jeremiah’s kind, gentle spirt made him a friend to all, and all who knew him loved him.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Francis Walker Mullins, and paternal uncle, Terry Mullins.
He is survived by his mother, Julia Catherine Hawkins; father, William Mark Mullins; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Shirley Hawkins; maternal uncle, Jim Jackson; maternal aunt, Amy “Titi” Jackson; paternal aunt, April Mullins; cousins, Sophie Jackson, Catherine Jackson, Kaiden Fowler, and Lindsay Mullins.
A Memorial service, celebrating his life, will be held at Christian Heritage Church Friday October 1, 2021 at 6 P.M. with Pastor Stephen Phillips to officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.
