HARDY-Mr. William Chris Hardy, Sr. age 57 of Beech Island, S. C. entered into eternal rest peacefully at his home, with his family by his side, on Sunday, November 14, 2010. He is the son of the late Andrew Jackson Hardy and the late Christell Widener Hardy. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mary Spires Hardy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, William Chris Hardy, Jr. of Martinez, Ga.; daughters, Honora (Vint) Daniel of Keysville, Ga., April Marie (Robby) Hicks of Belvedere, S.C., and Mary Christine (Jim) Ramos of Greer, S.C.; brothers, Andrew Jackson Hardy, Jr. and Thomas Eugene Hardy both of Augusta, Ga.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Debra Campbell of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Brittany, Robert, Christopher, Tyler, Brian, Rachel, Brandon, Jayme, Casey and Josh and his mother-in-law, Lucille Spires of Augusta, Ga. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Augusta, Ga. but had lived in Aiken County for the past 33 years. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bath, S.C. He will be greatly missed by his family, many friends and all whose lives he touched during the 57 years that God granted him on this earth; however life for him has not ended, just only begun in a better land with no more pain or sorrow. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Vaucluse Cemetery with Rev. Louis Swanson officiating. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home tonight, Tuesday, November 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside by 11:45 AM the day of the service.
