Wilhelmena Boyd Shuman

SHUMAN-Wilhelmena Boyd Shuman, age 88, of Warrenville, S.C., wife of the late Eldridge “El” Shuman and daughter of the late Stroud Boyd and the late Effie Mitchum Boyd, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 11, 2016. She is survived by her sister, Mary Boyd Reese; a special nephew and niece, Joey & Elle Clark; a special niece and nephew, Glenda Kaney (Wes) Distler and a special great nephew, Chris Clark. She was preceded in death by sisters, Luvenia Boyd Reynolds and Agnes I. Chavous. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She retired from Amoco Plastics. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a dear sister, aunt and friend. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 88 precious years that God granted her on this earth. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Richard Nevard officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to the Aiken Co. SPCA, 333 Wire Rd., Aiken, S.C.29801.The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
