Wilburn Carter Shook

December 31, 1969 — March 24, 2014

SHOOK-Mr. Wilburn Carter Shook, age 50, of North Augusta, S.C., loving husband of Rhonda Rash Shook and son of the late Wilburn Shook and the late Barbara Redman Shook, entered into eternal at his residence on Monday, March 24, 2014. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Saber Markie Partridge of Greenwood, S.C. and her fiancée, Joshua; brothers, Edgbert Shook of Leicester, N.C., Robert (Lorna) Shook of Jacksonville, Florida, Richard (Michelle) Shook of Leicester, N.C. and a sister, Freda Shook of Leicester, N.C. He was born in Suffolk, Virginia but has been a resident of Aiken County, S. C. for the past eight years. He was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church in Clearwater, S.C. He loved camping and was an avid fisherman. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 50 years that God granted him on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his love ones. A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hasty officiating. The interment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials, in his honor, be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expense.
