Wayne F. Ford

December 31, 1969 — July 22, 2013

FORD-Mr. Wayne F. Ford, age 55, of Warrenville, S. C., son of the late Edward F. and Mary Kirkland Ford, entered into rest, from injuries sustained in an auto accident, on Monday, July 22, 2013. He is survived by sons, Sandford Ford, Edward F. Ford, II, James Anthony Ford and Tommy D. Marshall; daughters, Stephanie Marshall and Ashley Marshall; Sisters, Linda Bryant, Mary Franklin and Barbara Dickert; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was born in Augusta, Ga., but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a self-employed carpenter, roofer and just a jack of all trades. He was also a co-owner of Ford’s Restaurant on Main Street in Graniteville for many years. He was an avid fisherman, and he loved anything to do with the outdoors. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched along the way; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his friends and loved ones. A memorial service, celebrating his life, will be held at Southside Baptist Church in Gloverville, S.C. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 5:00 PM with Rev.Jack Scott and Rev.Chris Williams officiating. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials, in his honor, be made to the funeral home to assist with the expense of the funeral. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. You can sign our guest register by logging on to www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com
