Wanda Pearson Lower

LOWER-Ms. Wanda Maxine Pearson Lower, age 54, of Gaston, S. C., daughter of Maxie Pearson of Graniteville, S.C. and the late Barbara Jean Turner, entered into rest on Sunday, September 4, 2011. In addition to her father, she is suvived by her stepmother, Joyce Pearson of Graniteville, S.C.; daughters, Jamie Lower of Columbia, S.C., and Stephanie Barrett of Gloverville, S.C.; sons, William Hurt, Sr. of McCormick, S.C. and James Lower, Jr. of Trenton, S.C.; sisters, Angie Tinsley and Joyce Slaven both of Aiken, S.C., Michelle Padgett of Graniteville, S.C., Amy Berry of Edgefield, S.C., Theresa Hutto of Graniteville, S.C. and Ronda Jackson of Warrenville, S.C., a brother, Rocky Pearson of Trenton, S.C.; five grandchildren, Jordan Barrett, Bill Hurt, Jr., Cassidy Hurt, Destiny Hurt and Caitlin Melby; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Pearson. She was born in Graniteville, S. C. but has been a resident of Gaston, S. C. for over ten years. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. Needless to say, she shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 54 years that God granted her on this earth; however life does not end with death, because the gift of God is eternal life in a land where there are no more goodbyes and no more pain or sorrow. A service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Padgett and Rev. Stephen Phillips officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Butch Lower, Billy Ray Pearson, Bo Buff, JoJo Hurt, Ernest Buff and Ryan Sharpe. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, September 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
