Wade Charles Screws

Mr. Wade Charles Screws entered into rest Wednesday December 22, 2021.
Born in Wadley, GA to the late Robert and Esther Screws in 1940. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War before becoming a Train Engineer for CSX, where he retired from. Mr. Screws loved Gospel Music, going to church every week, and camping trips with his family. He was passionate about driving trains and cars. He especially loved his family and will be remembered for being an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Mr. Screws is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Emory Screws, Ken Screws, and Otis Screws; and sisters, Louise Miller, Mary Lois Davis, and Helen Morrison.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Tammy Screws; daughters, Vicky Bryant (Tim Smith), Charlotte McNeely, Terry Lynn (Andy) Bryant, April Chavous (Travis McAlister); grandchildren, Chas Cadden, Hailey Johnson, Lindsey Carroll, Tony Bryant, Jacob Bryant, Drew Bryant, Hayze Polk; and 7 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service, celebrating his life, will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 2 P.M. with Pastors Richie Enlow and Eddie Hardee to officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will follow at The Historic Graniteville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Bryant, Chas Cadden, Seth Johnson, Tyler McKinney, and Randy Widner.
