Mrs. Vivian Brown Duffie, age 91, beloved wife of 61 years to the late Mr. Roy Edwin Duffie, entered into rest on Sunday October 6, 2024.
She is survived by her son, Charles Edwin Duffie (Benita); daughters, Lynn Duffie Edwards (Chuck), Denise Duffie Turner (Rick); grandchildren, Angela Brown Bulla (Sarah), Melissa Turner Westbrook, Ben Edwin Duffie (Mackinze); great grandchild, Aria Bulla.
In Addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Rhudell Wilbanks Brown.
Mrs. Duffie was retired from the Aiken County School District with 20 years of service as an office administrator. She was a member and past president of the Aiken County Association of Educational Office Professionals; Charter/Lifetime Member/Past President of the South Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals; and was also a Lifetime Member of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals. She was a member of the Vaucluse Methodist Church where she served as the Historian, Membership Chairman, Recording Secretary and member of the Nominations committee. She was especially proud to be a member of the Daughters of The American Revolution. Mrs. Duffie will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
A graveside service honoring her life and legacy will be held on Friday October 11, 2024 at 11am at Vaucluse Cemetery with Tim Harley officiating.
