Virginia L Russon

Virginia L. Russon, age 101, wife of the late Wallace Frank Russon, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at the Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

 She is survived by her sons, Charles (Kathie) Gerchow, Wally (Dee Dee) Russon; daughters, Laura Lee Russon McDill (Steve Schmalhurst), Louise (Jim) Murphy; fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and special friend Janice Hartless.

 In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, George Gerchow.

Ms. Russon was born in Panama and became a United States Citizen in 1942. She was a member of the Eureka First Baptist Church and will be missed by her family, church family and friends who loved her dearly.  

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at 4pm at Eureka First Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Arthur officiating. The interment will be private. The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
