US Marine Sgt. Retired Leonard C. Cantrell

CANTRELL–US Marine Sgt. Retired Leonard C. Cantrell, age 85, of Warrenville, S.C., husband of the late Sarah Frances Jordan Cantrell and son of the late Hiram Cantrell and the late, Odessa Mullins Cantrell, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He is survived by grandchildren, John Cantrell, Samantha Cantrell, Rachel Cantrell Redd and Shane Cantrell and five great grandchildren. He was born in Pike County, Kentucky but has been a resident of Aiken County for the past twenty-two years. He was a retired US Marine Corp Gunnery Sargeant Veteran with twenty years of dedicated service to his country. After his service with the Marine Corp, in the working world, he was an electrical technician and a Diesel mechanic. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the eighty-five years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A graveside service, with full Military Honors, will be held at the Warrenville Cemetery on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating.
