TURNER-Mr. Troy Levi Turner, age 66, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband of Peggy
Fulmer Turner and son of Fannie Lee Arender Turner of Aiken and the late Hudson H. Turner, entered into rest at his residence on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Tammy White of Vaucluse, S.C.; sons, Tony Turner of Clearwater, S.C. and Travis Turner of Warrenville, S.C.; a sister, Margie Grice of Aiken, S.C.;; brothers, Chester Turner of Florida and Robert Turner of Vaucluse, S.C. and seven grandchildren. He was born in Vaucluse and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vaucluse, S.C. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and next to his family, came his love for racing. Yes, he loved to race, loved to watch racing and as the family stated, he was crazy about anything with a motor. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A service celebrating his live will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Harold Herd and Rev. Bobby Grover officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the Homeless Veterans.
