Troy Randell "Randy" Kooy

KOOY- Troy Randell “Randy” Kooy, age 50, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband for 20 years to Roxanne Barton Kooy, and son of Tonya Hayes Kooy and the late Stephen M. Kooy, entered into rest on Friday, January 30, 2015. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Stephen (Briana) Kooy of Ruffin, S.C.; sisters, Rosemary Lea Kooy of Maine and Stephanie (Kenny) Wood of Louisiana; grandchildren, Lillyanna, Avah and Kaylin Kooy; nieces, Elaina Wood and Sierra Wood; nephews, Jacob Whiting-Kooy and Joshua Wood. He was born in San Diego, California but has been a resident of Aiken County for the past 25 years. He was a self-employed commercial painter by trade. He loved to draw; his favorite subject being people and flowers. His favorite pasttime was fishing. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, uncle and grandfather. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A memorial service will be held at South Aiken Church of God in Aiken, S.C. on Thursday evening, February 5, 2015 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Bruce Fox officiating. The interment will be private.
