Tommy Eugene Pritchett

PRITCHETT-Tommy Eugene Pritchett, Sr., age 70, of North Augusta, S.C., loving husband for 50 years to Virginia Green Pritchett and son of the late Rev. L. L. Pritchett and the late Sara Nelson Pritchett, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 2, 2014. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Tommy Eugene (Tina) Pritchett, Jr. of North Augusta, S.C. and Jeffrey Lee (Tammy) Pritchett, Sr. of Graniteville, S.C.; a brother, Jimmy Pritchett of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Sara Ann (Clinton) Hattaway of Valley, Alabama, Martha (John) Hephner of Charleston, S.C. and Judy (Lawrence) Thomas of Talladega, Alabama and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Joey Lee Pritchett and a grandson, Christopher Lee Pritchett. He was born in Chambers County, Alabama but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He retired from Kimberly-Clark as a Crew Leader with 36 years of dedicated service. He was of the Holiness Faith. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. The family stated that he was the glue that held the family together always willing to do whatever he could to help anyone who needed him. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 70 precious years that God granted him on this earth. He has finished his journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, November 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brian Cowart officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
