PARDUE-Mr. Theodore H. “T.H.†Pardue, age 82, of Graniteville,, SC, loving husband for 40 years to Ruth Payton Pardue and son of the late Theodore H. Pardue, Sr. and the late Gertrude Lowe Pardue, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 19, 2012. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Joe Booker of Valdosta, Ga. ; grandchildren, Stuart and Kristina Booker of Honolulu, Hawaii, Elizabeth and Kris Whitten of Loganville, Ga., Jon Booker of Lawrenceville, Ga.; great grandchildren, Hailey and Heidi Whitten and William Charles Booker. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC. He was a retired Personnel Director with the Gregg Division of Graniteville Company. He was a US Army Veteran, having proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was a dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church in Aiken, SC.; there, he was a member of the Men’s Sunday School Class and was an inactive deacon. He was the Past Commander of Post 77 in Warrenville and a member of the Graniteville Leisure Years Club. He was a devoted husband, Dad and grandfather, who never met a stranger and was a friend to all; yes, “T.H.â€, as he was so fondly known to his family and many friends, shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 82 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however, death is not the end, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe on Him. “T.H†has just made a transition to his new Heavenly home, where there is no more pain or sorrow. A service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Aiken, SC with Rev. Brancie Stephens and Rev. Bobby Broach officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park in Aiken, SC. The Pallbearers will be Carlisle Courtney, Duane Strother, Nathaniel Rushton, Lee Benson, William Bell and Roy Blackwell. The Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men’s Sunday School Class of Bethel Baptist Church, also, Barry Shealey and Steve Woodward. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening, Saturday, January 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. “T.H.†will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
