Thelma L. "Punk" DeAngelis

Thelma L. “Punk” DeAngelis, age 79, entered into rest on Monday August 19, 2024.

Punk was born on April 22, 1945 in Greeleyville, S.C. She was one of five children. She married the love of her life, Gerald B. DeAngelis in 1963 and stayed happily married until his death in 2009 which was just shy of 46 years.

Punk is preceded in death by her parents, Robert H. Broach, Sr. and Helen L. Pack Broach; husband, Gerald B. DeAngelis; sister, Vivian Ramsey; brothers, Wyatt Joseph “Joe” Broach, and Thomas M. “Tommy” Broach.

Punk is survived by her brother, Bobby (Lynne) Broach; sister, Ruthie (Nelson) Mitchum; children, Brian (Mary) DeAngelis of Michigan, Dawn (Bert) Meirthew of Michigan, Michael (Isabel) DeAngelis of Colorado; grandchildren, Jessica (Drake) Fortier, Brandon Meirthew, Anthony (Alyssa) Meirthew, Dalton Meirthew; and great grandchildren; Rowan Fortier, Brooklyn Fortier, and “Baby” Meirthew.

A graveside service honoring her life will be held on Friday August 23, 2024 at 4pm at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery.
