Terese Lott Henson

December 31, 1969 — June 5, 2014

HENSON-Mrs. Terese Lott Henson, age 58, of Aiken, S.C., loving wife for 35 years to Jeff Henson and daughter of the late Leon L. Lott, Sr. and the late Madeline Angone Lott, gave up her battle with her illness and went home to be with Jesus, Thursday morning, June 5, 2014. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Sara Allyson (Kyle) Langley of Warrenville, S.C. and Leslie Diane Henson of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Annette (Karl) Gorrell of North Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Leon L. (Bridgette) Lott, Jr. of Chapin, S.C.; grandchildren, Kameron Brewer Langley and Abigail Terese Langley. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a Manager of Health Physics/Industrial Safety for 27 years at SRS. She was a member of the Dept. of Energy, Region III RAP Team. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Vaucluse, S. C., and she dearly loved her church and church family, which was easy to see by her participation in all church functions, without having to be asked to do so. She was a member of the Aiken Hospital Auxiliary. The family stated that she was a loving, devoted wife, mother, servant and friend. Terese shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 58 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, God looked down and decided that her long hard battle with her illness was over here on earth, and it was time to bring her home for eternal rest with her Maker. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening, June 6th from 7:00 until 9:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held at the First Baptist Church of Aiken, S.C. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. J. B. Redd officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. The Pallbearers will be Richard Johnson, Craig Martin, Timothy Chipley and Billy D. Rains. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. You can visit the online guest register at www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com.
