WATSON- Tech Sgt. US Air Force, Retired James Arthur Watson, age 87, of Colorado formerly of Graniteville, S.C., husband of the late Michael “Mickey” O’Brien Crocker Watson and son of the late Jackson George Watson and the late Erma Snellings Lowe, entered into rest in Aurora, Colorado on October 19, 2016. He is survived by daughters, Letha Wiley and husband, Kevin of Elgin, TX., Kim Watson of Aurora, CO.; a son, Hans Watson; granddaughters, Claire Goodale and husband Sean of Auroro, CO. and Scarlet Watson of Elgin, TX.; brothers, Rob Lowe and wife, Dorothy; Larry Lowe and wife, Glenda and Tony Lowe; sisters, Aggie Creed, Nancy Merritt and husband, Wayne, Debbie Parker and husband, Don. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Arthur Lowe; a son, James Joseph Watson; a daughter, Mary Mitsuko Watson; a daughter-in-law, Haleigh Watson; sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Coleman, Mary Shumate; brothers, Wayne “Moon” Lowe, Harmon “Bunk” Lowe and Dan Lowe. He was born in Graniteville, S.C. A prayer Vigil will be held Friday, November 18th at 5:00 PM at Napier Funeral Home .The visitation with the family will follow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Park Avenue in Aiken, S.C. with Father George Joseph presiding.
