WIDENER-Mrs. Tammy Jean Glanton Widener, age 43, of Aiken, S.C., loving wife of Stacy W. Widener and daughter of the late Walter Lake Glanton, Sr. and the late Linda Sue Watkins Glanton Harding, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 5, 2014. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Emilee Widener; a son, William Widener both of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, Walter (Rachel) Glanton, Jr. of Windsor, S.C., Travis Glanton of Aiken, S.C. and Timothy Glanton of Ohio; grandchildren, Braxton and Isaiah Widener. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Glanton. She attended University Parkway Church of God in Aiken. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during her short lifespan; however, life for her has not ended as she has just made a transition to her new Heavenly home, where there is no more pain or sorrow. She has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with her maker. A service celebrating her life will be conducted Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The funeral procession will be leaving the Funeral Home immediately following the service for the interment at the Vaucluse Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Reggie Widener, Bryan Widener, Walter Glanton, Jr., Randy Watkins, Tony Newman and Chris Widener. Per the family’s request, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with the expense of the funeral.
