Sylvia Mills Copeland

COPELAND–Ms. Sylvia Mills Copeland, age 73, of Gloverville, S.C., daughter of the late Joseph William Mills and the Late Irene Carter Mills, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 29, 2012. She is survived by daughters, Pamela Copeland Houghton of North Augusta, S.C. and Tammie Powell of Augusta, Ga.; a son, Lynn Copeland; a sister, Alice Bernard both of Virginia; six grandchildren; a special granddaughter, Amanda Houghton Dubbs of North Augusta, S. C. and three great grandchildren. She was born in Thomaston, Ga. but has beem a resident of Gloverville, S. C. for the past five years. She worked for many years as a caterer, and she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during her lifetime; however she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor, may be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expenses. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.
