GRAY–Mrs. Sue Marilyn Turkett Gray, age 84, of Clearwater, S.C., wife of the late Jack Gray and daughter of the late John Turkett and the late Eva Mae Fraylick Turkett, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She is survived by daughters, Daphne Boyd of Clearwater, S.C., Linda Cheresnowsky of New York, Gayle Rollins of Clearwater, S.C., Laurie Ann (Albert) Johnson of Ocala, Florida, Metha (Danny) Boyd of Clearwater, S.C., Jackie (Ricky) Craig of Langley, S.C.; sons, Samuel (Phyllis) Robinson of Gaston, S.C. and Dewayne (Tracy) Gray of Langley, S.C.; 22 grandchildren: Evanell Hicks, Chris, Robert and Samuel Robinson, Jr., Amanda Munsell, Travis Gray, Tammy Murphey, James Ropp, Stephanie Lowe, Lawanda Hendrix, Nicole Rollins, Michelle Napier, Danny Boyd, Jr., Steve Boyd, Melissa Barton, Amy Gerard, Jennifer Johnson, Dewayne Gray, Jr., Brian, Kayla and Madison Gray and Albert Johnson, Jr.; 44 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jack Gray, Jr. and a grandson, Phillip Robinson. She was born in Columbia, S.C. but has been a lifetime resident of Clearwater, S.C. She was a member of Mid-Valley Baptist Church in Langley. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend, who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 84 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, life for her has not ended with death, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe on Him. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Kirk officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Langley Cemetery in Langley, S.C. The pallbearers will be Dewayne Gray, Jr., Brian Gray, Matthew Napier, Ryan Napier, Albert Johnson, Jr., Toby Lowe, Danny Boyd, Jr. and Steve Boyd. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to offset the funeral expense.
