RICHARDSON-Steve W. Richardson, age 54, of Aiken, S.C., son of the late Willie Richardson and the late Jean Eleanor Willis Richardson, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 21, 2016. He is survived by sisters, Lynn (Teddy) Morris, Lillian Richardson and Rose Chavis; a brother, Timothy (Jeanie) Richardson and their two sons, Clark and Kelly; nephews, Eddie (Regina) Morris, Jamie Chavis and Todd Chavis all of Aiken, S.C. He was born in and was a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a member of Redd’s Branch Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C. He was born with Down’s Syndrome, but defeated the odds and lived much longer than most that battle this disease. He loved his family, friends and his Jesus with all his heart. The “Incredible Huck†was a favorite character of his. The family stated that he was a wonderful caring brother who shall be greatly missed by them and all whose lives he touched during his lifetime. Death is not the end as he has just made that great transition to his new Heavenly home, where he will have a new body and no sad goodbyes will ever have to be spoken. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A graveside service, celebrating his life and home going will be held at Redd’s Branch Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Richard McWhite officiating. His brother-in-law would like to acknowledge Teddy for his love, respect and kindness to Stevie all these years.
