Stephen Stein

STEIN– Mr. Stephen Stein, age 62, of Warrenville, S.C., loving husband of Bobbie Sue Crocker Stein and son of Mary Seigler Stein and the late Thomas H. Stein, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 9, 2013. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Stein; sons, Stephen J. Stein and Michael Stein; sisters, Helen Shealey, Mary Ann Cooper and Heather Baker; brothers, Anthony Stein, Gary Hitt, Nicholas Hitt, Victor Hitt and Norman Hitt and six grandchildren. He was born in Chicago, Illinois but has been a resident of Aiken County for over 50 years. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a residential carpenter for over 20 years and was a boiler maker for 15 years. He was a survivor from the Graniteville train wreck. He loved and was loved by everybody. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his lifetime; however death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, June 12th from 3:00 until 5:00 PM. Memorials, in Mr. Stein’s honor, may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expense.
