Shirley Barbara Williams

Shirley Barbara Driggers Williams, age 79, beloved wife of the late Paul Finley “Cricket” Williams, entered into rest on Monday June 15th, 2020.

She is survived by her sons, Heath Williams, Bobby Williams; daughters, Latricia Bragg, Patty Valdez; fifteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Driggers and Lizzie Holland; sons, Robert Gregory, Ron Williams; and brother Donald Griffin.

“Mema”, as she was known by all, loved her family and all of her kids. She loved to cook and watch her Western movies. Her hobbies consisted of; crocheting, arts and crafts. She will be loved and missed by so many.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday June 17th, 2020 at 2pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The interment will immediately follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearer will be: Clay Turner, Chris McCord, Sean Power, Ronald Reeves, Whitney Napier and Henry Carlin.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, social distancing will be observed and maintained by the funeral home staff.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
