Shiela Raye Burgett

She was born on September 18, 1942 in Corning, NY to Ernest and Alice McIlwain. She will be remembered for the love she provided to her friends and family.

She is survived by her brother, Warren McIlwain; sons Philip McIlwain (Cindy), Charles Smith (Michelle), David Smith, Jeffrey Smith; daughters, Mary Wall, Wendy Riley; and grandchildren, Robert, Alice, Charles, Jessica, Kevin, David, Jr., Scott, Christopher, Todd, Shawn, Mathew, Jessica, Savannah, Michelle, Dylan and Charles; twenty-one great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard Barber and many nieces and nephews. She loved you all.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Charles H. Smith, second husband, Dan Burgett; brothers, Paul (Phyllis) McIlwain, Charles (Della) McIlwain; sisters, Nancy (Robert, Sr.) Harshberg, Sandy Barber; sister-in-law, Cecile McIlwain; great grandson, Joshua John Seeley; and son-in-law, Michael Riley.

It is Shiela’s wishes to not have a service. There will be a family gathering at a later date.
