Sheene' Griffin Tobin

TOBIN- Ms. Sheene` Griffin Tobin, age 57, of Langley, S.C., loving daughter of Anna Able and the late Billy Griffin, entered into rest on her birthday, Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Georgia Regents Medical Center. In addition to her mother, she is survived by sons, Benjamin Jenkins of Langley, S.C. and Jesse Tobin of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a sister, Donna Graham of Langley, S.C.; a brother, Russell Gunter of Warrenville, S.C.; two grandchildren, two nieces, a nephew and a number of cousins. She was born in Charleston, S.C. on July 20, 1957. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a member of New Hope Gospel Church. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 57 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with her Maker. A service celebrating her life will be held at New Hope Gospel Church in Beech Island, S.C. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Bob Still officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Langley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials, in her honor, be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
