Sarah Downs Lowe

LOWE-Ms. Sarah Downs Lowe, age 77, of Warrenville, S.C., wife of the late John L. Lowe and daughter of the late Henry F. Downs and the late Mary Lou Slade Downs, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 24, 2015. She is survived by daughters, Angela Wooten of Warrenville, S.C., Wanda DeLoach of Augusta, Ga. and Andrea Lowe of Warrenville, S.C.; sisters, Debra Eubanks of Clearwater, S.C. and Sharon McClain of Jackson, S.C.; a brother, Robert Downs of Gloverville, S.C.; grandchildren, Corey Boatwright, Sarah Boatwright, Alan Barton and Chad Barton and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son John Darrell Lowe. She was born in Wrightsville, Georgia. During her working career, she worked in Daycare at Millbrook Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who loved her family with all her heart. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 77 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with her Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord”. A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Clint D. Jackson officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
