Sara Bryan McManus

Mrs. Sara “Nina” Bryan McManus of Graniteville, S.C. peacefully stepped into Heaven on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She is now in the presence of her Lord Jesus.

Sara was born in Edgefield, S.C. on December 27, 1933. She was a graduate of Edgefield High School. She worked as a nurse for 34 years in Aiken County. She was a faithful member of Graniteville First Baptist Church. She loved to sew and quilt with her friends. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Jimmie McManus; parents, Carl, and Carrie Mae Bryan; sister, Carolyn Entrekin; and brother, John Bryan.

She is survived by her son, Ted (Kathy) McManus of North Augusta, S.C.; daughter, Terri (Larry) Harris of Graniteville, S.C.; grandchildren, C.B. (Jennifer) McManus of Jackson, S.C., Taylor (Crystal) McManus of Graniteville, S.C., Jena (Zeke) Deas of Beech Island, S.C., Lindsey Harris of Greenville, S.C., Morgan Harris of Graniteville, S.C., and Kimberly (Anthony) Krepps of Graniteville, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Sabrina (Brody) Allen-Newsome of Jackson, S.C., Julia (Hunter) Drawdy of Aiken, S.C., Lacy Ocak of Jackson, S.C., Eli McManus of Graniteville, S.C., and Beau Bryce Deas of Beech Island, S.C.; great-great-grandsons, Finnick and Max Drawdy; brothers, Carl (Jan) Bryan of Aiken, S.C., William (Carol) Bryan of Edgefield, S.C., Phillip (Gloria) Bryan of Edgefield, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Graniteville First Baptist on Tuesday November 29, 2022, at 3 P.M. with Rev. Todd Sessions to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Tripp Bryan, Randy Ryan, Jay Bryan, Luke Key, Brooke Bryan, Anthony Krepps.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.
