Sandra "Patsy" Woodward

WOODWARD-Mrs. Sandra Patricia “Patsy” Overstreet Woodward, age 80, of Belvedere, S.C., loving wife of 61 years to Henry Alva Woodward, Jr. and daughter of the late James “Jimmy” O. Overstreet and the late Emmie Bussell Overstreet, entered into rest, on Saturday afternoon, January 7, 2017. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael Glenn Woodward of Belvedere, S.C.; a sister, Linda (Vernon) Smith of Clearwater, S.C. and special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Bledsoe. She was born in Aiken County, S.C. on January 5, 1937 and has been a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a legal secretary for Toole & Toole, Attys. and Julian Salley, Atty. for many years. Patsy loved her work and was very good at her profession. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Belridge Baptist Church in Belvedere, S.C. She shall be greatly missed by her family and friends; however, death is not the end as she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Roy Head officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Pallbearers will be Don Bledsoe, Sean Lutot, Brad Smith, Garrett Lutot, Travis Byrd, Collin Smith, Jeremy Byrd and Ryan Hewitt. Members of Faith Hope Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 Noon until the hour of the service.
