He was a dedicated member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. His family stated that he was the best Father ever. He loved his family, his church family and his friends; but above all, he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all of his heart and soul. Yes, you could definitely see Christ in his life. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends and all whose lives he touched during the 82 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however, life for the Christian does not end with death, as to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and Calvin, as he was so fondly known by his family and friends has now joined his late wife, “Deanâ€, and together, they are rejoicing on the “Hills of Glory†with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends at Christian Heritage Church, this Wednesday evening, January 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life and home going will be held at the church on Thursday, January 24th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Phillips, Rev. Jody Padgett, Rev. Jonathan Randall and Rev.Tony Rhodes officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery.
