Russell Larry Britt

Mr. Russell Larry Britt, 62, entered into rest on Tuesday November 21, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Nina McGhee Britt.

He is survived by his sons, Chad (Janice) Britt, Corey Britt; father, Wilbur Larry Britt; sisters, Angela Britt, Michele (Terry) Padgett; grandchildren, Miranda Britt, Jacob Britt, Benson Britt; and very special friends Tim “Soley” Gordon, Ben Cochran, and Steve Barnhill.

Russell was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, and worked for 21 years at Hamburg TTX as a fabricator and welder. He was an avid Gamecock and Braves Baseball fan, and enjoyed fishing. Russell was a positive force, and source of happiness to everyone that knew him. After overcoming his accident, he continued to live his life to the fullest and go on to be an inspiration to many. He was always a people person and loved to make those around smile and happy. More than anything he loved his family, especially his sons, and grandchildren. He will be remembered for being a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.

A Funeral Service, celebrating his life will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday November 25, 2023 at 12 P.M. with Pastor Kenny Murphy to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
