WILLIAMS-Mr. Ronald W. Williams, age 74, of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 51 years to Beverly Montgomery Williams and son of the late Woodrow W. Williams and the late Tommie Lee Denton Williams Ladd, entered into eternal rest at his residence early Saturday morning, July 6, 2013. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kem and Jeff Lowe; a son, Keith Williams; brothers, Milton (Linda) Williams and Glenwood Williams all of Graniteville, S.C.; sisters, Shelby (Louis) Boone of Aiken, S.C., Sheila Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida, Sherry (Neal) Reece of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Ron Williams, Carl Lowe, Jennifer Friar and Brandy Williams; great grandchildren, Sophia Padgett, Woodrow Williams and Gregory Musgrove. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Williams. He was born in and has been a lifelong resident of Graniteville, S.C. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville. He was a member of North American Trail Riders Association and was a very accomplished rider, having held several national titles. He was a very successful self-employed salesman through the years, having worked in the grocery and metal industry. He loved his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his lifetime on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his many friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday evening, July 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Williams Family Cemetery in Graniteville, S.C. on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Phillips officiating. Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Regency Hospice for the great care that they gave their loved one during his illness.
