Roger Lewis “Bobby” Burkett, age 68, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 8th, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Ethel Ellyn Johnson Burkett; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father, William Burkett; sister, Beverly Lynn Burkett; maternal grandparents, Ethel Turner Johnson and Joseph C. Johnson, Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Addie Rogers Burkett. He was of the Catholic faith. Bobby will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 68 years he had on this earth. A funeral service celebrating his life will be conducted on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Church, Park Ave in Aiken, at 2 o’clock pm, with the Father Michel Mukad officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 4-6pm at Napier Funeral Home.
