STEVENS-Mr. Rodney Dean “Buck†Stevens, age 45, of Gloverville, S.C., loving husband of Dawn Krause Green-Stevens and son of the late Charlie Stevens and the late Victoria J. Scott Stevens, entered into rest on Sunday, July 14, 2013. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepfather, Wilbur Vroman; daughters, Shyanna Seeby, Therese (Jim) Hall; sisters, Lorie Ann (John) Lyles, Angela Hamlet, Robin Tompkins, Tina (Bobby) Davis and Lisa Stevens; brothers, Charles Stevens, William Stevens and Gregory (Angie) Stevens; grandchildren, Lexus, Seanna and Bryson. He was born in Conway, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was employed as a roofer with Midland Roofing. The family stated that he was a loving husband, daddy, Papa, brother, uncle and friend. He was a real family man who loved to spend time with the kids. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during his short lifetime on earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, July 17th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Todd Blackwell officiating. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Gene Moyer, Eddie Moyer, Charles Moyer, Ashley “Hoggie†Boyd, Kojak Goodwin and Gerald Storey. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials, in his honor, be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expense.
