Robert Cecil Rhoden

Rhoden - Robert “Cecil” Rhoden, age 75, of Belvedere, S.C., loving husband for 56 years to Ida Pou Rhoden and son of the late Eugene C. Rhoden and the late Francis Lucille Wilson Rhoden, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 17, 2017. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Rhoden of Belvedere, S.C.; sisters, Wanda Braxton of Beech Island, S.C., Bonnie Lanier of Warrenville, S.C., Phyllis Gunter and Mary Fallaw both of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, Tommy Rhoden of Graniteville, S.C. and Doug Rhoden of Beech Island, S.C.; two grandchildren; Jessica and Dillon Eubanks, and great grandchildren; Cameron, Melvin, and Leeland Scott. He was preceded in death by a son; Kenneth Robert Rhoden, grandson, Zackary Eubanks. He was born in Graniteville, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a faithful member of Faith Holiness Church in Clearwater, S.C. He retired as a Diesel Mechanic with Superior Carriers. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was avid Atlanta Braves and Falcons Fan. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 75 precious years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service, celebrating his life and homegoing, will be held at Faith Holiness Church on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Floyd Hutto officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
