Mr. Robert Tyler Klugh, 72, entered into rest at his residence surrounded by his family Sunday May, 8, 2022.
Born in Marietta, G.A. to the late Blanch Tyler and George Earl Klugh Sr. After graduating high school Mr. Klugh joined the United States Navy where he served honorably for 4 years. He continued on to work with CSX as a switchman until his retirement. A servant of his Lord, Robert previously served as a Deacon for Lighthouse Baptist Church, and has been a member of Christian Heritage Church for the last 10 years. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing, visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the Atlanta Braves. He loved his family, and will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Earl Klugh Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen Fair Klugh; son, Trent Tyler (April) Klugh; daughter, Kristine Klugh (Alex) Baker; and grandchildren, Annabelle Baker, and Remi Baker.
A Funeral Service, celebrating his life, will be held Wednesday May 11, 2022 at Christian Heritage Church at 2 P.M. with Rev. Steven Philips and Rev. Marion Britton to officiate. The family will receive friends 1 hour to the service. A private burial will take place at the Tyler Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Travis Tyler, Tom Tyler, Alex Baker, and Gary Sego.
