Robert Charles " Butch" Harris

HARRIS-Mr. Robert Charles “Butch” Harris, Sr., age 61, of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 40 years to Sharon Josey Harris and son of the late William M. Harris, Jr. and the late Maxine Farmer Harris, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 28, 2012. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Tonya Harris of Graniteville, S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Edward Caba of Columbia, S.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Julie Harris of Graniteville, S.C. ; a grandson, Jared Harris; nieces, Sarah and Elizabeth Harris; in-laws, Marshall and Annette White. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He retired from the Shipping Department of International Paper with over 30 years of service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, June 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Padgett officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Lester Newsome, Daniel McKinnon, Mark Nichols, Ward Clark, Joel Randall and Willie Simon.
