Rita F. Frenandez

FERNANDEZ-Ms. Rita F. Fernandez, age 62, of Graniteville, S.C., daughter of Rita Shirley Taylor Fernandez and the late Maj. Orlando Fernandez, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 10, 2015. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Adele Marie Griego of Graniteville, S.C.; a son, Robert Joseph (Tara) Chapman of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; a sister, Adele (George) Ginn of Maysville, N.C.; a brother, Orlando (Debbie) Fernandez, Jr. of Bristow, Virginia; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was born in Washington, N.C. She was a retired commercial seamstress. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Gloverville, S.C. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during her lifetime. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her friends and loved ones. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A service, celebrating her life, will be held at her mother’s residence at 1264 University Lane, Aiken, S.C. on Saturday evening, December 12, 2015 at 5:00 PM. The interment will be private.
