Rick Roye Cornetti

Mr. Riccardo Roye “Rick” Cornetti, age 69, entered into rest on Saturday April 17, 2021.

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Beth Cornetti (Brett) Laird, Ellen Cornetti (Chastin) Frazier; Emily Cornetti (Donnie) Stephens; son, Daniel (Lauren) Cornetti grandchildren, Summer (Benjamin) Ray, Brian (Melissa) Holloway, Jr., Destiney Cornetti, Hunter Laird, Matthew Arthurs, Caleb Frazier, MaKayla, Joseph, Nathaniel Cornetti, Mercedes, Charity, Jasmine, Donald and Drake Stephens; and his grand puppy “Kota”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert E. and Mary Roye Cornetti.
Mr. Cornetti graduated in 1969 from Aiken High School. He worked for many years in EMS with Aiken County South Carolina as a crew chief, and Columbia County Georgia Emergency Medical Services. He also worked in radio from 1972 to 1977. He was formally known as “Mr. Google” as he could answer the questions on Jeopardy before the contestants could. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Friday April 23, 2021 in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home at 3pm with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. The entombment will immediately follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening April 22, 2021 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Ellen and Chastin would like to thank Dr. Geisler and Pod-A, Dr. Barnes and Dr. MacDonell for taking such good care of Mr. Cornetti on the day of his passing.
Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, masks are encouraged for the visitation and funeral.
