Richard Eugene "Gene" Still

STILL-Richard Eugene “Gene” Still, age 72, of Warrenville, S.C., son of the late Richard Samuel Still and the late Arrie Stephenson Still, entered into eternal rest at his residence on August 19, 2015. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Willie Mae and Clyde Harvell of Warrenville, S.C. and a number of nieces and nephews. He was born in Millen, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a member of Howlandville Baptist Church. He was a loving and caring brother, uncle and friend. He shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 72 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord, Jesus Christ. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM. The service, celebrating his life and homegoing, will follow the visitation and will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home, at 3:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Broach and Rev. Daryl Price officiating. The interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Barnwell, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Robbie Ready, Chris Ready, Jamey Locklair, Jimmy Wood, Junior Wood, Gerald Goldman and Walter Craig. Memorials, in his memory, may be made to Howlandville Baptist Church, 316 Howlandville Rd., Warrenville, S.C. 29851.
