Richard Lee Smith

SMITH-Richard Lee Smith, age 72 of Warrenville, S.C., son of the late Anderson O. Smith and the late Ruby Lee Moody Smith, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 30, 2015. He is survived by sisters, Mary Alice Teseniar of Aiken, S.C., Agnes Mae McKinney of Warrenville, S.C. and Frances Louise Glover of Gloverville, S.C.; a brother, Andrew (Peggy) Smith of Covington, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S. C. He was of the Baptist Faith. During his working years, he worked in Maintenance with Otasco. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 72 years that God granted him on this earth. Death is not the end, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. A graveside service, celebrating his life, will be held at the Langley Cemetery in Langley, S.C. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Terry Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM, at which time the procession will leave the funeral home for the graveside service at the cemetery.
