CANTRELL- Entered into rest on Saturday, August 14, 2010, Mr. Richard Cantrell, age 79 of Warrenville, S.C., beloved husband of Mary Clark Cantrell and son of the late Jennings Bryan Cantrell and the late Lydia Jones Cantrell. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and daughter-in-law; David Cantrell and Paul and Claudia Cantrell both of Aiken, S. C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Deno Shumpert of Warrenville, S. C.; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Virginia Cantrell of Smyrna, Tennessee; a sister, Barbara Wall of Russellville, Arkansas; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was born in Gallup, New Mexico but spent most of his life in Warren County, Tennessee, prior to moving to Warrenville. He was a US Navy Veteran . He was a member of the Church of Christ on Dibble Road in Aiken, S. C. He really enjoyed camping and carpentry. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 79 years that God granted him on this earth. A celebration of his life service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Speaker Dan McMahon officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Jim Lancaster, Jerry Zipperer, Michael Lowe, Burl Boatwright, Gene Garland and Mike Lowe. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home this evening, Sunday, August 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials, in Mr. Cantrell’s honor, may be made to the Alzeheimers Association, 1899 Central Avenue, Augusta, Ga. 30904. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.
