Rev. Thomas E. Mason, Jr.

MASON-Rev. Thomas E. Mason, Jr. age 64, of Warrenville, S.C., loving husband for 43 wonderful years to Marilyn Burkett Mason and son of Thelma Cain Mason and the late Thomas E. Mason, Sr., answered God’s call and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by daughters, Kristie (Christopher) Emerson of Belvedere, S.C. and Starla DeFore of Trenton, S.C.; sisters, Jeanie Lamb of North Augusta, S.C. and Becky Jarrard of Belvedere, S.C. and five grandchildren. He was born in Augusta, Ga. He was an awesome Pentecostal Holiness Pastor who loved his Lord and family with all his heart. He also had a warm smile, loved people and would do anything he could to help anyone who needed him. Yes, a man of his caliber shall be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched during his short lifespan. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service celebrating his life and homegoing will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Rev. George Taylor officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife, Marilyn Mason, to assist with expenses incurred.
